Employment Contract and Hours: Up to 38.5 weeks per academic year.
Anticipated shift: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9:00 pm-2:00 pm, Tuesday and Thursday 9:00 pm-2:30 pm; Scheduled hours may be adjusted depending on department needs.

The Basic Skills department at North Orange Continuing Education (NOCE) is seeking an Outreach and Retention Professional Expert to assist with community networking, building relationships with external organizations and business partners, and providing outreach support for the Basic Skills department to ensure consistent student recruitment, enrollment and retention.
Responsibilities:

- Attend events, maintain communication, and address needs as they arise from organizations and partners.
- Collaborate with NOCE Communications Team to ensure accurate information and consistent branding in promotional materials, social media posts, and website.
- Support presentations/Q&A at NOCE sites and community events, conduct information sessions.
- Engage and support students via phone, text, email, Zoom; help track trends and results to share updates with Basic Skills management.
- Schedule events and coordinate offsite visits; learn and apply emerging technologies and advances as necessary to perform duties in an efficient, organized, and timely manner.
- Maintain program announcement boards at NOCE campuses.

Minimum Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in project/administrative.
Comfortable giving presentations at public events. Must be willing to make phone calls, data entry, travel to various off-site locations within North Orange County, and reflect patient and professional customer service skills.

Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Experience and ability to multi-task and meet targeted deadlines on time.
PC and Internet proficient.
Familiarity with social media, Zoom, WordPress, Canva, Constant Contact, and Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with graphic design and/or social media marketing.

Salary Range: Professional Expert III: $30/hour
