Job Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Assists in collecting, analyzing and preparing information from multiple sources.
  • Assist with project activities as needed to achieve outcomes.
  • Prepares correspondence; formats presentations and reports; develops and revises schedules and forms.
  • Organize, scan and/or print, and file records and other information as needed.
  • Practice discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • Respond to requests for information and provide support to staff, administrators and students.
  • Prepare and sort documents for data entry.
  • Enter large volumes of data entry.
  • Review and verify accuracy of data entry. Report discrepancies.
  • Organize and stock office materials; manage digital and physical files; scan, print, and archive records as needed.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

SCHEDULE
  • Tuesday - Thursday, maximum of 26 hours per week
  • Office hours range between 8am - 5pm
  • Unpaid lunch
  • Maximum of 38.5 weeks, per School Year

Non-Classified short-term hourly, TE C: $25/hour


Primary Purpose:
PRIMARY PURPOSE

North Orange County Community College District is now accepting applications for a Temporary Hourly Office Support Staff - Human Resources at District Services! This temporary position will be located at our Anaheim Campus.

Under the direction of the District Director, Human Resources Operations, perform data entry and provide temporary office assistance in support of human resources operations.

Minimum Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Demonstrated clerical/data entry experience.
  • Commitment to diversity. All applicants must have demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, faculty and staff. The applicant must be able to demonstrate how their experience with these factors relates to successfully achieving the goals of the position.


Desirable Qualifications:
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Experience with coordinating and performing administrative duties.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with employees and management.
  • Experience managing calendars, scheduling appointments, setting up meeting polls, and managing email filters and rules.
  • The ability to generate reports and perform basic data analysis.
  • Skilled with cloud technology (Zoom, Canva, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Teams).
  • Experience with data collection, data entry, and maintenance of records.
  • Ability to meet established deadlines and manage time effectively.
  • Experience providing excellent customer service to a diverse population.



Working Conditions:


Salary Range: Short-Term Hourly TE C: $25/hour
